The handle spins and the door or window won't open. What's the cause?

Usually it's the gear coupling between the handle and the peripheral hardware – occasionally the handle itself. We carry the most common types and replace them on the spot; others can be ordered.

The handle won't turn, or only partially. What now?

It could be the handle mechanism or another part of the peripheral hardware blocking movement. From experience we can identify the fault and handle both opening and repair.

The door opens only to the ventilation position but won't open fully. Why?

Corner gears are often the weakest link in the whole peripheral hardware. Because of the bend, the metal there is thinner and tends to crack over time – so some parts of the hardware work while others don't. Call us – we can open the door or window that same day.
